I always reach for some aromatherapy to enhance my meditation rituals. I drench my senses in deep, earthy, grounding and magical aromas that quiet my busy mind and transport me to a quiet place deep within. This is a practice I began while living in crowded, shared housing in a big, loud and hot city.
- Â Â Â Find a quiet spot outside or by a window where the moonlight can reach you. If moonlight isn't a possibility for you, maybe draw a warm bath.
- Â Â Â Sit comfortably and close your eyes, taking deep breaths to center yourself.
- Â Â Â Imagine the moonlight enveloping you in a gentle embrace, filling you with calm and clarity.
- Apply a few drops of aromatic oil, cream or even a pinch of the Kama Body Incense to your fingertips. Moving in little circles, massage your temples, scalp, neck and down to your chest.
